About AFC Reading
Established in 2016, AFC Reading aims to create an atmosphere based on family values where the social side of being a member is as represented as the footballing side. We provide football for two kinds of players: those who are in the game for the fun and the inclusion of participating with friends; and those who strive to go places within the sport.
It is our aim to inspire kids to be the best they can be and reach their full potential. AFC Reading offers teams for both boys and girls football from U7 to U18 and Men's.
Since formation the number of teams has quadrupled and our mission remains to develop successful teams and players as well as providing entry-level alternatives that are in keeping with our playing philosophies. We are a Club that its members feel a part of and want to be a part of. Our Club delivers excellence: on and off the pitch; in its engagement with the community; and with fellow clubs.
